Amaeteur Photographers, Professional Photographers and C&N Teammates can enter!
Here are the new rules:
- Amateur Photographer: Anyone who makes less than $5,000 a year on their photographs. At least three photos from amateur photographers will be selected and used in the final calendar.
- Professional Photographer: Anyone who makes more than $5,000 a year on their photographs. Any photos submitted with watermarks will be disqualified. If your photo is chosen, we will recognize your business in the text below, but we do not want anything to sway the judges. By submitting any photos, you are giving C&N all rights to use them.
- C&N Teammate: Anyone who is employed or that has immediate relation at C&N may enter. If the photo makes it through the anonymous judging, a maximum of one photo will be selected from this category.
- Photographs will be accepted from 3 categories: amateur, professional and C&N teammates.
- Amateur Photographer: Anyone who makes less than $5,000 a year on their photographs. At least three photos will be selected and used in the final calendar.
- Professional Photographer: Anyone who makes more than $5,000 a year on their photographs. Any photos submitted with watermarks will be disqualified. If your photo is chosen, we will recognize your business in the text below, but we do not want anything to sway the judges. By submitting any photos, you are giving C&N all rights to use them.
- C&N Teammate: Anyone who is employed or that has immediate relation at C&N may enter. If the photo makes it through the anonymous judging, a maximum of one photo will be selected from this category.

- All photos must be high resolution.
- Printed photos must be at least 6x4 and digital photos must be at least 300 dpi.
- Photos must be horizontal and fit 11”x8”. Selected photos will be cropped to that size.
- All entires must be outdoor theme. Photos of people and pets will not be considered.
- Only photographs representing scenes from the C&N Corporation market areas will be considered. C&N Corporation’s market area includes Bradford, Bucks, Cameron, Chester, Lancaster, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Sullivan, Tioga and York Counties in Pennsylvania and Chemung and Steuben Counties in New York State.
- A panel of judges will select the 12 winning photos in August 2024.
- Entries will be evaluated based on appeal, content, photographic skill and appropriateness for the calendar month the photos depict. The decision of the judges is final.
- C&N Corporation assumes no responsibility for submissions.
- Submissions are limited to 10 photos per person, but only one photo can be selected to win each year.
- Only entrants providing a self-addressed, stamped envelope of the right dimensions and proper postage will have their photos and CDs returned. Photos will be returned a few weeks after the final selection.
- Winning entries will be held until the publication of the calendar. Selected images are used on a non-exclusive basis.
- Each entry must be the work of the person submitting the photo, and a signed entry form is required. All printed photographs must have the photographer’s name and address on the back. Please indicate the month and location where the photo was taken. Entrants under the age of 18 must submit a release signed by a parent or guardian.
- Winning photo selection: all photos will be judged anonymously with all categories intermixed. In order to keep the competition fair for all levels, at least three winning months are required to be from the “Amateur Photographer” category. In addition, only one photo from the “C&N teammate” catego-ry is eligible to win. However, C&N employees are not eligible to win any monetary prizes.
- Winners will be notified in August 2024.
- One grand prize winner will receive $300, a framed copy of their photo and the cover spot on our calendar.
- 10 will be selected to represent a month in the calendar and win $100.
