DOYLESTOWN, PA – C&N, a leading financial services company across Pennsylvania and New York, recently donated $10,000 to the Bucks County Opportunity Council to support its Economic Self-Sufficiency Program. 

Bucks County Opportunity Council is the lead anti-poverty, 501(c) 3 non-profit organization in Bucks County with a mission to reduce poverty and partner with our community to promote self-sufficiency.  This donation will support the organization’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Program, which empowers low-income families with the education, skills and resources necessary to achieve and maintain economic self-sufficiency (without any future need for cash welfare subsidies). On hand to present the check and represent C&N were Blair T. Rush, President of C&N’s Southeast Region, and Chris Nardo, SVP & Region Retail Executive.

Mr. Rush commented, “C&N is deeply committed to improving the communities it serves and is proud to support Bucks County Opportunity Council’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Program. We are inspired by the program’s approach to address the root causes that keep low-income people in poverty and the successful transformation of lives which often ends a cycle of poverty that existed for generations.”

This donation was made through the Neighborhood Assistance Program, which encourages businesses to invest in programs that develop local areas in need of improvement.
