DOYLESTOWN, PA – C&N (Citizens & Northern Corporation, NASDAQ: CZNC), a leading financial services company in the region, announced that Daniel Hines has joined the Southeast Region Commercial Lending team as VP; Senior Commercial Lending Relationship Manager based in Doylestown, PA. 

Dan brings over 31 years of both retail and commercial banking experience to the team at C&N.  Most recently, he was a Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Lending with Penn Community Bank.   “Dan is a talented, experienced banker whose reputation in our industry and community is truly outstanding.  We are thrilled to have him join the C&N team” stated Kelley Cwiklinski, SVP; Director of Commercial Lending.

Dan is a graduate of Penn State University where he earned his BA in Economics with a minor in Business.  In addition, he is Credit Risk Certified by the Risk Management Association.

Dan is an active member of the local community. Currently, he serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the North Penn YMCA, where he is also the Budget and Finance Committee Chairman. His commitment to the community led to him being named the 2020 recipient of the North Penn YMCA Hall of Fame Award for exceptional leadership and devoted service.  Dan is also a member of the Montgo-New Britain Rotary Club where he actively participates in community projects. 

Outside of his commitments at work and in the community, Dan likes to spend time with his wife, Elaine and their two adult children, Christian and Kaitlyn. He also enjoys spending time working on his cars and vacationing in the Outer Banks.
