DOYLESTOWN, PA – C&N, a leading financial services company across Pennsylvania and New York, recently donated $15,000 to Main Line Art Center under the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
Main Line Art Center is a non-profit community arts center whose mission is to inspire and engage people of all ages, abilities, and economic means in visual art through education, exhibitions, and experiences. This donation will be used to support their outreach programs which include over 20 community-partnerships and their accessible art program, supporting people with disabilities. Each program is designed to help solve a community need and ranges from public art programming to in-school residencies and art therapy. “With the help of C&N, we are able to serve more people in our community who otherwise wouldn’t have access to visual arts education,” said Lisa Getz, Executive Director, “These programs are the cornerstone of our offerings and something the entire staff and all the teaching artists are very passionate about. We are so grateful that our bank is also passionate about supporting our community.”
On hand to present the check and represent C&N were Blair T. Rush, President of C&N’s Southeast Region & Bob Kile, SVP, Senior Commercial Lending Relationship Manager. Mr. Rush commented, “At C&N, we recognize the positive impact the arts have on children’s development, academic outcomes and mental health. We are thrilled to support Main Line Art Center in their mission to inspire and encourage children’s creativity and imagination.”
