WELLSBORO, PA – C&N (Citizens & Northern Corporation, NASDAQ: CZNC), the leading financial services company in the region, announced that Scott W. Clark has been named to the C&N Wealth Management team as Senior Financial Consultant & Trust Officer based in Wellsboro, PA. 

Scott brings a depth of knowledge and expertise to the C&N team. He has over 25 years of industry experience, most recently with M&T Securities, Inc. as the Sales Strategy and Market Manager – Group Vice President and, prior to that, as the Retail Market Manager for M&T Bank.

Scott has earned several professional certifications, including Certified in Long Term Care - Corporation for Long Term Care Certification in July of 2007, Certified Mutual Fund Counselor - The College for Financial Planning in October of 1999 and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow - The National Association of Life Underwriters in September of 1996. He holds Series 24, Series 7, Series 65 & Series 63 Securities Registrations and Pennsylvania Life, Accident & Health Licenses. In addition, Scott completed the 3-year Graduate School of Retail Banking Program sponsored by the Consumer Bankers Association at the University of Virginia in July 2006. He also previously served on the Government Relations Policy Committee and the Securities and Brokerage Advisory Committee for the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.

Scott is a former member of the Liberty Borough Council and actively volunteers for the United Way, American Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity. He’s a member of the Wellsboro Social Club, Arnot Sportsman’s Club and the Knights of Pythias Lodge. Scott resides with his family in Liberty, PA, where he spends his free time enjoying outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping and kayaking.
